Does anyone know how can I solve this problem indicated in the attached image? After using the pathfinder/shape builder tool some of the corners appear messy and not sharp cannot find the way to delete the additional line in the corner.
Start by checking whether you have any strokes applied. the rest we can't realyl judge. Without the shapes being actually selected there's no way of whether this is some overlapping anchor points, an open path gap or something else.
This looks like a display-only phenomenon (not part of the artwork's structure and will not export or print) that can occur when in View using GPU mode, and disappears with View menu > View using CPU or ⌘/Ctrl + E. As I understand it, with Illustrator, operating systems, and graphics cards providing unsynchronized updates, sometimes the GPU display is not optimal.
