Missing tools in Dock

Sorry, I'm going to slaughter the tool names here...My tool dock is screwing with me and I'm missing the square where you select from which point you want to increase/decrease (left top, right top, center, bottom left, bottom right). I'm also missing the image measurement portion with the increase/decrease carrots. I've toggled both Tab and F. Sometimes they return and the next time I toggle, they do not. I've also clicked into the three dots at top left and all the tools are selected. However, not all are showing.

Where can I set these to stay?

LATEST

The last couple of versions of Illustrator have included a feature that allows you to customize your tool bar. Unfortunately, this flexibility sometimes leads to "losing" or "misplacing" a tool. To edit and/or restore your toolbar click on the three dots at the bottom of the toolbar (highlighted in the screenshot in red). A list of tools that are not currently on your toolbar will pop up and you can click on any missing tools and drag them to the appropriate spot on your toolbar. You can also click on the pull-down menu at the top of the list of tools and choose either the Advanced or Basic set of tools.
