I had been working on a file in Illustrator for 2 hours. I let is sit on my computer for about 24 hours. Usually, if anything ever happens and the computer crashes, Illustrator opens back up again with the recovered file. However, this time I opened up Illustrator after a crash and there was not a trace of the file I had worked on. It was just gone. I don't know if I can get it back or how... Please help!

Did you save the file at any time in those 2 hours?

If not: why not?

No recovery service or function can save you 100%

So it's you who has to take care of files.

If you didn't save your file and Illustrator didn't recover it, it's gone.

If you did save your file, then the last saved version must be somewhere.
