I am building an icon which consists of horizontal lines and a vertical line... I cannot get the lower horizontal line to align with the bottom of the vertical line.  Any suggestions. So many problems with CC!

I can not find where the Align To Pixel Grid feature is to turn it off.  I use to be in the transform pallet... don't know where it is now.

In the upper right — the dropdown

But first — Select your artwork and choose Object > Make Pixel Perfect

And also — check your settings in the View menu. If you have questions, please ask.

That middle 'orange section' between horizontal lines 2 and 3  looks taller than the section above it

To make it even, if that what you what,

I'd redraw  from scratch

Draw the top line

Alt drag it to the bottom to copy it , using smart guides to align.

Use the Blend tool - make a blend between top and bottom lines

click the Blend tool - spacing - blend options - specified steps 2  ok

Object >Expand - with just object selected - ok

then join the the lines with the pen tool

Exactly how are you trying to get that to align? Are you using align palette, dragging and trying to snap?

You may just want to draw this part as one shape.

The just select the line by clicking in the middle and use copy & paste in front  to make 2 copies.
