opacity on 3D objects

So ive made my objects and knocked out group opacity and looks perfect but them when i go to make the image 3D the knocked out portion goes away, how do i get that to show up on a 3D image?

Yes, the 3D effect disables the Knockout Group. Without knowing the details of your particular needs, it's hard to advise you.
