Orange box with image icon

Hi there! I am designing an agenda but I've found that sometimes orange boxes form around the numbers and whole canvasses (see image). Does anyone know what they are and how i can get rid of them? thank you in advance.

those seem to be slices, select an object with a slice then go to Object->Slice->Delete All
