PC GPU for Illustrator that does not need external power?

I've trying to upgrade my work PC to meet Illustrator/Photoshop system requirements for a couple months now and this is turning into a nightmare. I've already bought two GPUs that are not compatible.

Are there any GPUs that meet the Adobe requirments on the market right now that do NOT require an extra power connection inside the tower? It turns out the HP PC we recently bought for this specific purpose has a proprietary motherboard, and the power supply cannot be upgraded to work with the GPU we need to use the Adobe apps reliably.

I am not experienced with Windows computers so if anyone can assist it would be really appreciated, I am quite overwhelmed and I don't know where I would begin searching for such a thing.

Can you give a break down of the system and setup you have in place, that way someone may be able to point you in the right direction.

When you purchased the PC did you look at the minimum system requirements here: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/illustrator/system-requirements.html

Surely if you did you would know what kind of machine you would need..?

Anyway list out what you do have and someone MAY be able to help.

I'd go back to whoever advised you to buy these "bought for this specific purpose" computers and tell them they aren't doing the job.
