I've tried google-ing this question and have been to several forums trying to find an answer, but haven't found any so far. My problem is that when I use pen tool to plase a path, illustrator places the path far away from where I click... Idk if you can see the cursor, but I'm trying to put a path right at the pointy grey triangle, but illustrator places it like wrongly... Do any of you have an answer for me? How to i turn off the snapping? I've searched and tried so many things, but I just can't figure it out
Turn off snapping under the View menu.
Turn off Align to Pixel Grid in the Properties panel.
If those things don't work, click the rocket icon at the top of the window.
If that doesn't work, reset preferences How to set preferences in Illustrator
