Pinch-Zoom using a Trackpad

Hey peoples!

I noticed in Photoshop, the pinch-zoom ability on a trackpad works great to zoom into files open on Photoshop.

How do you turn that feature on in Illustrator?

You can only zoom on you trackpad if you press alt. Hope it helps:)

Dear Adobe: please fix this issue. It IMMENSLY improves workflow to be able to zoom in with two fingers!

nvm! go to preferences > general > force pinch zoom!

Another person responded and shared how this is easy to fix:
Go to Edit > preferences > general then check the box to "force pinch zoom"
It worked for me just now! Thank you!
