Hello everyone,

I actually work in a Company of Flexoprinting

In all these years I create a files with manual trapping.

Today, I find that there is a plugin who made automatically trapping. (Esko Desko)

But unfortanetly, it's a much expensive... Is there another plugin but free?

Thx

I don't know if that helps you. But recently I made a little script for trapping that creates outlines in the same color as an object with Overprint Stroke enabled — MakeTrappingStroke. I was asked about this script by a man who also works with flexoprinting.

Hi @Sergey Osokin

Thank you for this beautiful script...

But, in offset printing I suggest using the following techniques

- Objects/Text with White fill or stroke (DE-OVERPRINT)
- Objects/Text with Black fill (OVERPRINT FILL)
- Objects/Text with Black stroke (OVERPRINT STROKE)
- Objects/Text with any fill color and white stroke (DE-OVERPRINT)

The overprint should normally be the lightest color...

for example,
If the top object is Yellow and the bottom object is Blue, the top object should have a Yellow stroke overprint aligned to the center.

If the top object is Blue and the bottom object is Yellow, the top object should also have a (Yellow) stroke overprint aligned to the center.

Unfortunately, I can't find a script to do this, if you can be of any help, I would appreciate it.
