Possible Color Space Issue?

I downloaded a vector image from a stock account. The image has flames, gradients, etc. When I place the eps file in InDesign a bunch of black lines appear. If I save the eps as a tif file and place in InDesign, the lines disappear. I need to make a kickpanel for an event registration booth, dimensions are 84" x 21". When I use the flame/gradient image and resize it, the black lines appear. I cannot get this image to produce without black lines EXCEPT when used as its original size in .tif format. When I covert to cmyk (file>document color mode) it turns to grayscale. When I pdf it, it still shows black lines. I am at a complete loss for how to fix this issue or where to even start resolving the issue. Any help would be soooo greatly appreciated. This design has already been approved by our executive office, so I need to find a way to make it work for our event materials.
Here is the original
Here it is after it is being used and resized on screen

Transparency flattening issues with stitching artefacts.
You might try and open the file in Illustrator then export at the desired resolution to TIF and then use the TIF in InDesign.

Thank you Monika for the suggestion. This is what I have done, however, when I resize it to make it banner size, I get the black lines again. Do you have another suggestion for how to resolve the problem?

Sorry can't test your file. Takes too long.
But that should not happen. WHen you export an unflattened graphic from Illustrator to a TIF, then there souldn't be any lines.

open orig eps file in Illustrator. Save as pdf. Open pdf in Photoshop at what ever resolution is appropriate for your ultimate scaling, rgb mode. Convert to cmyk in photoshop.

For large format, you can keep the color mode RGB. Save the original as a live RGB .ai file. Scale the banner to 21 X 5.25 inches, assign a raster resolution of High for the document. Size your new .ai file accordingly.

I'd recommend opening the .eps and delete the text so you can recreate a simpler version. The text contains so many transparency modes, which is not ideal, and that is interfering big time.
Then resize the artboard and background elements to 21 inches tall. I noticed you said the banner has to be 84 inches wide, but this graphic is a square shape, so you'll have to add in a background color on either side to fill in the width needed.
Recreate the text again with a gradient fill and add a drop shadow effect.
I deleted the text from your .eps, saved it, and opened it as a smart object in Photoshop to test if the lines would appear, and they do not. Then I was able to convert the Photoshop mode from RGB to CMYK without issue.

I downloaded your document. I tried and I didn't have a problem.
The document is small in size. This is a problem.
I scaled it to any size with SCALE in Illustrator.
You can export EXPORT> JPEG or PSD format from Illustrator.
After you import it into Photoshop, you can re-scale it if you want.
As a result of the study I did not find the black lines you mentioned.
