Hi there,

Anyone have any ideas as to why?

I've tried copying the artboards to a new blank file. Still won't save (dsame ertror message).

Fully up to date (version 26.1).

iOS is up to date. (12.2.1)

Would appreciate any help.

Where are you saving to? Are there fonts used in the project?

For some this has helped:

Try to turn OFF Preferences > File Handling > Save in Background.

We are sorry for the trouble. This issue has been fixed in the latest Illustrator update, v26.2.1, released yesterday. I would request you to update and let us know how it goes.
