Raised lettering

Hi, does anyone know best way to create this effect using illustrator? Need to have them vectored, but can live with pixels as I have photoshop.

You could try a blend, since yu can live with pixels.

A blend does not create pixels, but the result is problematic when you output it in vector formats or for specific production methods
