I uninstalled my whole suite and completed the job using the CC cleaner after the wireframe function (Ctrl + Y) stopped working.
Updated my graphics card driver and ran a range of routines to clean up and optimise my laptop.
Downloaded CC desktop app and downloaded Illustrator.
Wireframe still isn't working and Illustrator takes up to three minutes to start and it has crashed once.
