I have been searching for PMS 20-0094 TPM in Illustrator and cannot find the value in any of the Pantone Color Books. Does anyone know how to find and assign this value in the Illustrator or should I just use the hex code for now and give the PMS value directly to the printer?

Thanks for your help!

Ask the printer what they want.

Or

get the Pantone Color Manager software from Pantone and install the library that has the color.

Hi,

PMS 20-0094 TPM is in Metallic Shimmers, but cannot be installed with Pantone Color Manager. The data is Lab 77.52, 18.89, 15.28, and HEX E7B2A4. This value was checked with Pantone Studio on iPhone.

the color you are referring to is for Metallic paper, it is not for an ink color.

To search for an ink color, you will need to consult a Pantone Library for printing purposes, for example, Pantone Coated or Uncoated.
