Hello,
I was curious if it's possible to script a “Freeform Gradient”?
Reading the scripting guides, I only see options for LINEAR and RADIAL when setting the type of gradient.
Optimally, I'd like to create and control the x/y locations of the gradient points and also have the options to control the point's radius.
Any tips, pointers and/or documentation references would be more than spectacular.
Thanks!
no, there were no new api updates on the latest release as far as I know.

Thanks CarlosCanto!
That's too bad it's not accessible via the Illustrator API.
Is this a common thing when Illustrator comes out with new features? How long does it take for a new feature to reveal/make public it's API layer?
Thanks so much for taking the time to help!

hmm great question, from what I've seen, it's a norm not adding much. If they do add something, then it'll be ready to be used and be discovered by us as soon as the new version is out. It won't be added to the scripting guide and it won't be announced.

Ahhh, I see!
Ok, fair enough Adobe... It's a waiting game at this point.
Thanks again for your help Carlos, it's very much appreciated!
