Selection properties are different than exported selection

Hello,

I'm pretty new to AI so I guess this might be a silly/basic question...

I'm using an AI project with some basic UI with text boxes, buttons, etc.

When selecting an object that will be exported as an individual image, the properties panel gives me the details related to the trace and not the dimensions of what the image will be in the exported 1

For example the selection in the screenshot has an area of 92x92 pixels but, if I export the same selection to an individual png, this will lead to a 96x96 pixels large icon.

Is it possible to adjust the properties panel so it can show the "exported" size (so 96x96) instead of the trace size?

Thank you!
Marco

Even though it is not very precise (it gives 94,4 x 94,4 in the preview but 95x96 in the exported file) that's what I was looking for, thank you!

Exported raster files can only be in whole pixels, so partial values will always be rounded. It also depends on where your object is sitting in relation to the pixel grid: check its X/Y values with the reference point set to a corner.

The stroke weight is larger.

You need to turn on "Use Preview bounds" in the Preferences. So that Illustrator shows you the visible size.
