Adobe Illustrator is a perfect app to quickly create digital and printable greeting cards.

Let’s create an e-card and share our creative stories with others. If you’ve just begun your journey with Illustrator, it’d be a great learning exercise for you. If you’re an expert, be a guiding light to others by sharing your artwork, tips, tricks, or best practices. We’ll feature select creations on our social media channels with proper credits, and of course, after your consent.

I currently use Hallmark Greeting Cards and would like to create in Adobe Illustrator.  very frustrated to get blank card stock and insert personal pictures and graphics.  I also want to print my cards myself and mail them to family and friends.  I thought it would be more intuitive than it is...

Hi @robertaw37026630,

I understand the switch from Hallmark to Illustrator can be tricky at first. To create your cards, try setting a custom document size that matches your card, then use File > Place to add your pictures and design over them.

If you're stuck on a specific part, like placing images, alignment, or printing, let me know your Illustrator version and OS.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Abhishek
