Shortcut for deselect text (shift, cmd, A) does not work in Illustrator

The shortcut for deselect text (shift, cmd, A) does not work in Illustrator on my Mac (Ventura). Instead it makes the text kearning.

Menu commands ->

other Text -> Kerning
