Hi everyone,

can anyone help me with a step by step explanation how to create a star circle with the stars changing angle like in this picture?

Not exactly with the strange rotations, but maybe this will help.

A single star > Transform Effect

Another effect > 3D Rotate (Classic)

You can also use power duplicate to make star circle.

  • pull guides from ruler to center
  • Draw one star
  • option click rotate tool on center of guides
  • enter an angle evenly divisible by 360
  • Command D to power duplicate, then spam the Command D for as many as you need

Then scale to elipse and roate

then apply 3d Roate to one

Seclt aal and Shift Comad E to apply last effect to all

Then manually click on each in appearance, and rotate to cube for variability
