I'm trying to create a tappered Art Brush that responds to pen pressure but no matter what Art Brush settings I use, it seems Art Brushes don't respond to pen pressure as seen in my video below:

Caligraphy Brushes work fine with pen pressure, but as demonstrated I'm unable to tapper the lines as neither the Stroke Width tool nor the brush profile setting seem to be compatible with them.
Is there anything I'm missing or some other way I can create a Tapered Art or Calligraphy Brush that responds to pen pressure?
Other Information:
- Computer and Pen Used: Surface Book 2 with Surface Pen using default N-trig driver.
- Art Brush Pressure Issue tested to still persist on Illustrator Versions: 24.3 (2020) and 22.0.1 (2018)
