the shadow effect

Hello everyone, hope you're having a great day!

A Quick Quesiton, Other than using transparent (lower the opacity)

How they make the shadow effect shown on the pic below? Any help would be appreciated! Thankyou!

It's easy to do in Illustrator if the patterns in your screen shot are separate objects. Just select the pattern piece, choose Effects > Stylize > Drop Shadow. Turn on Preview and adjust the settinigs to your liking.

Draw a rectangle (this will be the third piece at right, below) just use a rectangle shape white filled.

Draw another rectangle, or drag to the left holding ALT the first to make a copy, above it.

With that second item selected Effect>Stilize>Drop shdow (check Preview) adjust the values (eg. 35% opacity)

Draw another (third) item at left, or better yet, drag holding ALT to the left that second object, and you will get the third with the same drop shadow.

To finish, select each item and apply the pattern fill of your picture.
