I put this Mac into use one week ago today. It was a clean install of everything. I recreated preferences, but copied over toolbars, templates, etc. It has been working perfectly for a whole week. Suddenly today, it constantly crashes with this message that it's not compatible with MacOS 14. I'm never doing anything significant, copy/pasting a text field, changing document tabs, scrolling. I thought maybe it was related to the documents I was accessing, but it has now happened with a document I created last week with this computer.
I see this in the crash log:
ATSLight: Unimplemented function was used - rdar://105810634
With the first thread refernecing it as well
0 ATS 0x19ef78b14 Crash__Please_File_a_Radar_against_ATS__relate_to_105810634 + 780
I know Radar is Apple's internal bug tracking system, but we don't have access.
How do I avoid the problem until it can be fixed? As I started writing this message earlier, I went back to AI to wait for a crash so I could save the log, but it went most of the afternoon without an issue, and just now crashed on a new document.

There are some issues with Sonoma, but generally Illustrator 28 should run.
What about Astute Graphics - did you install their latest version?

Absolutely. I didn't copy those over, I installed them from scratch, and they reported being compatible long before I installed.
AI does run, until this point. It had run fine for a solid week without any crash but it has crashed 5-6 times today already.

It's already Friday. You could contact Customer Care today - they won't be available on the weekend. https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
They can login to your system. There are so many small things with Sonoma currently. On the forum we still do not know that one thing you need to do to make things work again.

Getting this message after updating a user in the studio from Monterey to Sonoma.
Also updated to Illustrator 2023 and 2024.
Can anyone suggest a fix?

Hello @paultech,
We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to install Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps?
Also, try using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/3K6b4rJ) to remove all Adobe apps and then reinstall Illustrator and share your observations.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav
