Hi there,
I have to set up a 4 page triangle brochure for print. My artwork is currently set up as 4 single triangles but they need to be slightly rotated to fit the print template. Every time I rotate the triangle it warps and changes its size. How do I stop this from happening?
Thanks
Nicola

Hi Monika,
I'm using Illustrator CC 23.0.3. If you see the artwork below the template, the dimensions are 190 x 172mm....

when I place it on the template it changes dimensions and skews so it doesn't fit the template....

Is it real triangle or effect?

I think it might have to do with uneven angles, my mistake! thanks

Even perfect triangles don't have a square bounding box.

Let me ask this, have you tried to rotate the template (instead of your art) as a test to see if it rotates correctly?

Nicola,
Have you created the outer triangle with the Polygon Tool (and rounded the corners) and made sure it is regular?
It may be convenient to create a circumcircle of the outer bounds of the triangular path and Group the two, which will give you the same fundamental dimensions and centre (and a square Bounding Box).
