Hello

When I export from Illustrator to pdf to send to the printer, the trim marks are automatically exporting at 400% black. The printer will not accept this.

I have been exporting the same way for years and just have this issue with this document.

How can I change the colour of the trim marks when exported? They don't show in Illustrator, only when opened in Adobe pdf.

Thanks

Megan

When exporting the Illustrator file to PDF, try choosing PDF x 4.

Talk to your printer. The color of the print marks is absolutely correct. The crop marks will be cut off after printing anyway.
