Trouble with disappearing text

Anyone having a problem with disappearing text? I'm not sure when it disappears or what causes it. 

It doesn't disappear completely, I can select it, copy it and then replace the original text. 

I can't select it and bring it to the front as that doesn't change anything.

I can't see any reason for it, its a common procedure for me, nothing different. To me...it seems like a glitch. A program issue? 

I've not seen it happen with any other graphic elements. Just text. All look of text were typed on a curve...I don't know if that's an important factor but it is a common one.

Could you provide a screen shot showing exactly what is happening? Please also include the exact version of Illustrator and operating system that you are using.

Does the disappearing issue occur with any font? Or is the issue just happening with a specific font?

It happened to my text today and it was on a curved path too

Hi @Corjane,

We’re sorry to hear about this issue. Could you provide a few more details, such as your operating system and the version of Illustrator you’re using? Additionally, did this issue start occurring after the recent release?

If you haven't done so already, please try resetting your preferences for Illustrator using the steps provided here and let us know the results.
