Is there a way of turning off the graphic that appears when an Abobe product is being launched? For example if you click on the current version of Illustrator (on a PC), a poor young lady with bright red skin appears, until illustrator begins. I feel sorry for her, and it is difficult to see such suffering each time I want to use the software.
Thanks for your help.
Steve
Not sure where to locate them on Windows OS, but on Mac OS there are three .png files in a folder called Resources (see Show Package Content in Finder)
ai_cc_splash.png
ai_cc_splash@2x.png
ai_cc_splash@3to2x.png
You can rename them in order to hide the suffering lady when launching Illustrator. Or you can replace them with something more pleasant to your eyes (saving it with the very same file name).

On Windows splash images install location path would be something like:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\ Your Version of illustrator \ Support Files\Contents\Windows
( best back them up first )

The startup screen is a PNG that resides in the Illustrator folder in the application folder. If you care so much for that: open that images in an image editor and change it.
But you really need to know what you're doing when fumbling around in those locations.

Many thanks for your help with this!
I had hoped it was something like this, but could not find the information.
Best regards, and thanks again,
Steve
