I noticed since the last Illustrator update the action of pasting has a big issue. Please, somebody can help with some advice in order to avoid those troubles? The -paste action- doen't keep the format.
Thanks!!

Rocio,
It will help helpers help you if you can show what you copy and what it looks like when you paste it, or try to paste it.

The problem is in every text box, objects with texts, no matter if they are alone (the text box) or grouped. When I copy those and try to past them in all ways: paste in place, front or back, it just past part of the objects and the text appear continue in one single line without the original format (size, font, etc). I attach a reference of it.

Rocio,
That looks strange indeed.
With the screenshot there is hope that someone can make heads or tails of it, maybe tomorrow; it is rather late over here, time to attend to other duties before the sun rises.

Do you use any extension in your system that messes with the clipboard?

It seems I was a bit hasty about lateness over here and attending to other duties, Monika.

No, I don't. I just use command+paste / paste in place as I ussualy do, but now a lot of things doesn't work propertly, mostly in copy/paste commads.

Looks like you copied the text (not the container and text) and then pasted into point text rather than area text.
Use the solid arrow tool and select the area text container. When the text is not highlighted you are only copying the text, not the text and container. Belwo is the proper selection.

What actually happens is that no matter how I made the "copy" (grouped or not grouped, highlighted text or not, new text box or not) the result is the same: the action of 'paste' do the thing that is pasting without the orgininal format. Oh, another thing... when rare and luckly do the paste suposedly correct... well all the things loose the "grouped" characteristic and every object is loose

Hi there,
Sorry about the trouble. I would request you to share a few more details like:
- Is the issue happening while working on a specific document? If yes, could you please share the document with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link.
- When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, or web extensions installed recently.
- Does resetting Illustrator Preferences (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html) help to resolve the issue?
Disclaimer: Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also take a backup of the folders in case you want to. Location is mentioned in the article.
Also, please try booting the system into Safe Mode and share your observations. In Safe Mode, your device starts your system to perform certain checks and prevent third-party software/ services from automatically loading or opening)
I will be looking forward to your response.
Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Saini

Hi, thanks for your response.
The problem actually happens in all documents. I notice it start after update system and application. I already try resetting the Illustrator preferences but nothing change, just loose my custom actions. I don't know what else to do. A peer of mine has the same issues too. 😞

Thank you for sharing the information. I would like to know if the steps suggested above by @Mike_Gondek worked for you? I would request you to share a sample files from where you are copying and where you are pasting. You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link here.
Also, were you able to check if it is happening in Safe Mode (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/x-productkb/global/start-safe-boot-mode-mac.html) as well?
Regards,
Anshul

Thanks for your video, but does not help as we do not see what you copied only pasting.
Please read over my earlier reply. By posting that video suggests that you may have not understood the importance of having the correct selection before copying.

I was copying the group of objects you see there and just command+v (paste). And the result is always pasting the text without the original format. I have years using the same commands and is just now that I have the problem.

Hi @RocÃo Toledo,
Thank you for trying the Safe Mode. I understand it was running slow in Safe Mode but were you able to paste text as intended while you were in the Safe Mode. Also, we are unable to replicate the same at our end. I would request you to share a sample file from where you are trying to copy the content. You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link here or via DM.
