When exporting a transparent file (see image below) the files appear all white when previewing pdf or eps?  Why is that and how do I fix it?

I'm using a MAC and preview the files on Preview. It does the same thing when I preview on google chrome.

In Acrobat you could turn on a transparency grid as in Illustrator. I don't know about Preview or the like.

  • Did you exported the file in PNG with the background color as "Transparent"? Then open it in Mac preview & chrome application and check if it has transparency?

  •  Is the issue related to a specific document? If yes, could you please share the document with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link here or via DM.

Looking forward to your response.
