Hi there,

I created a logo in Illustrator and I would like to place it into Indesign for the businesscard. Unfortunately the logo is unsharp. Pls advise me what went wrong. I did save the logo in EPS, PNG and PDF and all these are unsharp. See attached.

Thanks for the help!

Don't use EPS. It's dead.

Save AI with "PDF compatiblity" and place into InDesign.

Then set the rendering quality to higher.

But you might just want to switch to Overprint preview. Ad just what you need to adjust and then leave overprint preview. It's OK that layout quality looks bad.

If it looks pixelated with a PDF, it might be the display setting in InDesign. In InDesign, select the placed art, right-click, and in the contextual menu, go down to Display Performance and change it to High Quality Display. It's a setting that makes it render faster while you're working. It doesn't affect the quality of the output.
