Can you give some more information, please? What file type was the original file? What file type did you save it as? What OS and version? What version of AI? What is your workflow?

Hi Larry, it is an AI file, I saved it as AI 2020, as usual how I save the file. I'm using macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, AI 2020. I made a duplication of a file and work on the duplicated file, after adjusted the vector file i exported 2 pages into a JPG file, then save and close my AI file, when I reopen the AI file the vector became a pixel images, but the text and some vector remain as it is... only the vector grahipcs that i masked emebedded into a image... The colorful waves were verctor.
