Hello, anyone knows how was this green painting done. Please see the attachemnet.

Was it done in Fresco, Illustrator, Photoshop or somewhere else?

I know how to add paper texture in Illustrator but I then don't know how to paint over it to get as similar effect as in the attachemnet.

I would need to see the original file to know how it was done.

If you have an object in Illustrator filled with a texture, using the Appearance panel you could add a new fill and change the Opacity setting to Color mode.
