Hello Support/Community,
I seem to be having a weird issue with my iMac and it use of vectors in illustrator. I unfortunately do not know enough about about Mac like I do PCs, but I thought it was an GPU/Process issue, but I can seem to see any spiking in the activity monitor. It is never consistent with when it happen, but it always seem to happen when I use the smooth tool followed by zooming in and out. I never had this issue on my previous system which was a 2008 iMac (tower). Not sure if there something with my iMac or a lack in hardware. Specs: 2.8Ghz quad-core i5, 8Gb DDR3 Ram, Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200...

Try to switch between GPU and CPU (Cmd E) to see if it goes away.

It seemed to resolve the issue in the meantime, thank you. However, when I switch back to the GPU I will get black lines in my art. I think there something wrong with the GPU. Though it does go away when I switch back to the process.
