The JPEG file format is generally not suitable for saving sharp edged content, which is the typical vector content. What you see is the result of how JPEG works. You can slightly blur your image and the artifacts will probably vanish at least slightly, but then your content will be blurred instead.

If you have the choice, save a PNG instead.

Thanks for your advice!

I just tried that, but there is still a line through the circle.

Now it is on the right side 😞

Is the only solution to blur it a bit?

Thank you

Oh, that line shouldn't be there at all. Couldn't see it in the other image.

Are you sure you filled it with a color and not with a pattern?

That line is a typical artifact of pattern fills. So when you select that item, the color panel shows values, right?

If you are 100% sure, then try and copy the artwork to a new file and save from that one.

I suppose you reboot the computer regularly? If not, do it now.

You could also try if resetting the preferences helps. That will erase all your settings. You might want to rename the preferences folder for testing purposes. Location: https://www.vektorgarten.de/illustrator-settings.html
