Why will the color not go to the edge?

Hi People!

I was editing a line in Ai when I noticed (I was zoomed in) that the color does not go to the edge of the line. Why is this? I tried everything. Any solutions?

Looks like a redraw problme .

Hit CMD E Max or Ctrl E Win to toggle out of GPU preview (look after file name at top to see what mode you are in).

I would try what Mike suggested. Anytime I'm getting a weird appearance I'll try to switch View Modes to see if it's truly an issue or if it's just the GPU preview acting up. Let us know if it works

Does the shape have any warp effect applied? If so, then expand the object.
