Hi
I created a design that involves blending modes, however when i save it as a PDF the blending modes don't show. Can anyone help?

The dark green box disappears when i save it as a pdf. I open the pdfs on Microsoft edge or Chrome

How does the PDF look when you open it in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat DC? It's possible the Edge and Chrome browsers are not interpreting the blending/transparency modes in the PDF properly.

I just tried opening it with Acrobat and it did work thanks! But when i send my design for print how do i make sure the blending modes pull through?

If you're sending the art file to another company to do the print work you need to make sure their print setup can handle PDF content natively. Is the work being printed in large format (banners, signage, etc)? Or is it being output on standard sized pages? You could ask them what kind of printers and print-related software they're using. It's pretty easy to find out if the print software and/or hardware can handle PDF content natively.

"But when i send my design for print ..."
Professional printers use the correct software for handling professional PDFs.
Regardless, you should demand a proof of some sort if you are concerned.

And tell what application you are using to display your .pdf files.
