I encountered this problem when writing arc text in Illustrator. even though i tried reinstalling select but still can't use, can someone help me?

I can write in normal typeface but I can't write in circular typeface

Please select the path, then open the layers panel and open the layer in it and take a screenshot of that. We cannot watch the video because of privacy settings.

Perhaps you need to go back to the instructions and follow them carefully. Or perhaps you need a link to instructions because you're trying to do this by guessing?

Actually you don't need to switch tools in order to write text on a closed path, you can also press the Alt key with the text tool.
