How do I close the last open file?

When closing files, I press cmd+W, which is in my muscle memory. Works fine with multiple open files, but when I do it with the last one, then Illustrator closes, which I do not want.

@Monika Gause This is more of browser behaviour. For last tab you can click on Ai Web Icon to go on Home page.
