Hi guys! I seem to be having an issue with ai. files in adobe illustrator. I did some work yesterday and the ai. file i saved wont let me edit anything when I open it in illustrator. I also noticed that all of my layers are gone. I have also exported the file as a PNG but that is it. Does anyone know how I can possibly fix this or avoid it in the future? Thank you
Where did you save it? Saving in a shared or cloud folder, on a server or external disk can corrupt the file. Best option is saving locally and make copies/backups.
