Brush configuration

Hello everyone, 

Asking for your expertise here. I would like to draw an illustration like the attached image (later it will be ptinted). Don't know how to configure a similar brush tho. Can you tell me which approach would you use to draw a similar illustration and the configurations (size, pressure, etc) you would use?

Which version of Illustrator are you using?

Apart from that, all kinds of (custom) brushes can be used here.

Are you familiar with creating custom brushes?

I'm using Illustrator 2020.

I use photshop to draw, however I need a vector file this time, I don't know about custom brushes. Could you teach me about the settings to get a brush to drae like the image?
