When you have a line in illustrator where you:

  1. Select using the direct selection tool (A)
  2. Convert the point to smooth using (B)
  3. And get the fabulus result (C).
  4. BUT you also end up with point D where the alignment of the line is always vertical.
  • Is there anyway to make the final point in the line be aligned to the rest of the line?

Hi.

Try with the Direct Selection Tool.

But it will be an eyeball routine. Please check the following video Align Handles

Best Regards

That means we need to inducidually corrent the endpoint of each line. Seems rather silly no?

In my view this is a bug. At least a surprising behaviour.
