Hey all,

Totally new rookie here to the adobe community, BUT i'm loving it so far, but wholly hell frustrating.  I have a roland versaworks suite for a BN-20. I'm attempting to create cut outlines for printing /  cutting on this machine.

I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the insides of text to get cut out (Example printing a capital "A" the inside of the "A" doesn't get cut out...any suggestions on how to fix this.

Thanks

Phil

So the text has been outlined?

Is it a compound path?

I don't know that set up, but with mine clipping paths cannot be used.

I can use compound paths, but maybe yours can't (?).

Also mine cuts best on none stroked paths, if you have a double stroke effect or something similar I always convert all paths to outlines, and unite touching/overlapping colors to reduce complexity.
