Issues faced in new version 24.2

In the new version (24.2) anchor points are not visible after using the direct selection tool.

I also selected the option of Show anchor points in selection tool and shape tools (in preferences).

Inspite of that the anchor points are not visible .

Is there any other option to select to make the anchor points visible.
