licensing for this product has stopped working>>>

Attempting to reinstall Adobe illustrator and Photoshop CS4 on a macbookAir(mid 2011) 10.13.6

once installed, unable to open....

Error msg = licensing for this product has stopped working Error 6

any steps i can do to get these applications up and running??? thanks in advance

CS4 and 10.13 are not (fully) compatible. And that dialog box may just be a sign of this (in lack of a more appropriate warning message).

Did you get any kind of dialog where you entered the serial number when installing?

For CS2 and CS3 the licensing servers have been shut down, but I'm not aware that the same has happened for CS4.
