Surface Pro 4: Pen Pressure Working in Photoshop but not Illustrator

Hello,

I have recently purchased a surface and installed by Adobe Master Suite CS5. As instructed in other forums, I have downloaded the wintab_x64 driver so that I can use the pen pressure function in photoshop and illustrator.

Pen pressure seems to be working just fine in photoshop without any issues, but I am still having trouble with illustrator. I am able to select pen pressure when using my brushes, but the sensitivity is not working.

Is there any known fix for this problem? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver but it doesn't seem to help.

Hi Starchip13,

I would request you to please share some screenshots or a video to show the behavior of the pressure sensitivity of the brush.

Regards,

Srishti

Hello Srishti! Sorry for replying to your comment again, but he is talking about the same Pressure Sensitivity issues that people are reporting that haven't been fixed for years. Can you forward this to your team again as it has not been fixed? I bought a Surface Pro 7 (the most expensive one) just to be able to draw in Illustrator on the go. I bought it for Adobe Illustrator exclusively because the OS is Windows 10, yet literally every Surface Pro user is experiencing this problem and Adobe Illustrator is unusable. Here is my thread for it: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/problem-with-adobe-illustrator-pressure-on-a-surface-pro-...

Please forward this to your team as 100% of the Surface Pro users that use Adobe Illustrator are experiencing the same issue and it's been like this for years. I asked in Reddit for tests and literally, all of the users had the same results so please look into this and forward it to the appropriate team!
