Copy Changes not visible to colleagues

New Here ,
Apr 29, 2025 Apr 29, 2025

I've made some InCopy editorial changes to a document and saved to a shared Dropbox, but when a colleague accesses the same file, the changes are not on her document.

The only reason I can fathom is that I am working on version 19.5.3 and she is using 19.5  but we cannot find a way for her to upgrade to the same version - all it offers is the 2025 version, which we've found to be full of glitches and a hindrance to all.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

You're both on the same major version (19) so that shouldn't be a problem, but what version is the InDesign user on? He/she must also be on 19.

For Dropbox, all users should have any cloud only / smart sync features turned OFF to make sure that everything is syncing properly.

If that's all set up properly, we're going to need more information on the workflow.

You might also want to make sure your colleague has enabled Show Changes in the View menu. It's happened to me a few times 😉
