Microsoft Endnote to InCopy to InDesign?

Hello! Has anyone had success importing endnotes (saved from Endnote - it seems to become a Bibliography in Word) to InDesign in such a way that they maintain their links from superscript to the reference in the Biblio? I used InCopy to import from Word, and there appear to be links on the superscript, but they don't translate to links in a PDF (which is the final result we need). Any ideas appreciated!

Are you making this PDF from InDesign or Word?

I've tried exporting to PDF from InCopy, as well as InDesign. No joy.

Sorry, I wish I could help but it sounds like it might be injecting some kind of code that's interfering. Just curious, have you tried creating a PDF directly from Word?

Yes, it works from Word, but the connection is lost when imported to InCopy and InDesign. However, the layout is impossible in Word.
