After cloning internal hard drive syncing is not changing numbers

New Here ,
Oct 06, 2025 Oct 06, 2025

Hi

My drive with all my photos was reporting errors  and so I cloned to a new internal hard drive    renamed itto the same letter as previous so not to mess up any links for LR classic

The sync to cloud  icon top right has been saying uploading 395 for the past week  since the clone  and has been left on for over 24 hour hours.

I have tried all teh solutions found on adobe website but still unable to sync the latest images to Lightroom mobile on Ipad.   Pc is windows 11 with latest update   LR classic also updated before cloniong

Any ideas what i can do to get the syncing to update from 395

KR

Andrew

Hey, @andreww94511553. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system info from Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

We can use the diagnostic report to learn more about this. In Lightroom Classic, go to Preferences > Lightroom Sync Tab > Press and hold the ALT/OPT Key to generate a Diagnostic report. Upload the report to any cloud file-sharing service, share the link here, or send it to me directly from my profile.

Generally, you can log in to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3uv2zCA) and make small changes to your images on Lightroom Web to verify if Sync is working one way (Web > to classic), and while you're on Lightroom Web, look for the Sync Issues category near the Deleted section on the left part of the screen. If there are any Sync issues, check the file name & the original upload source, apply minor edits or tags to these images, and wait a while to check if the edits sync to the cloud.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Sameer K
