Bring a portion of photo to full screen in Slideshow with Lightroom Classic 13.3.1

Hello, thank you all for supporting me.  I am using Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 on a Mac BookPRo M2 based.

I have several photos in which I 'm resizing a portion of them, for example to focus attention on subject and avoid objects around it. Because of this the portion of the picture is smaller than the original size and when I add these photo into the Lightroom Slideshow (or even iMovie) I get a smaller image on video.

I wonder if this community can help me on how to get the images in full size video within the final Slideshow/video.  Thank you

John Ellis reported on a possible bug in the Slideshow module in this link-

https://www.lightroomqueen.com/community/threads/exporting-slideshows-as-video.50430/#post-1335200

But I have no further info on this 'bug?'.

I also see the same problem with very small (pixel sized) images- The photo will not zoom to fill the guides either.

Example a severe crop (to a Virtual Copy) from a larger image-

My work-around for this has been to-

1) Select the small images

2) Export JPGs with  resize (upscale) to suit your intended screen dimensions (eg. 1920x1080px)

Export with 'Add to Catalog'. Create a temporary folder of the 'exports' that can be deleted after creating the video.

3) Build the Slideshow from the exported files. (From folders or a Collection)
