I'm running Windows 10 with full student Adobe Cloud subscription. I've updated Lightroom to 7.3.1 as there is no option for me to update to 7.4 as it doesn't seem available on cloud subscription. Any idea why not?
Lightroom is continually crashing as I get the "not responding" message appearing and is painfully slow to show adjustments if at all.
I've followed forum advice, deactivated GPU, Ran as administrator, Reinstalled version 7.2 but nothing works or helps. Need some urgent solution to this issue.
My system is:
32 GB RAM (31.9 usable)Hard drive 412 GB feee of 939 GB
External Hard Drive 354 GB of 931 GB
I really don't want to have to do a full uninstall and then a reinstall (and even then if I do a reinstall am I going to see 7.4 as option), but really don't know what else to do.

Try creating a new catalog. Import a few photos to the new catalog as test to see if there is a possible problem with your current catalog.

Hi all
Just a quick update having been in live chat the last few days trying to get this resolved.
It would seem the issue is to do with my external hard drive causing this (but it never used to). I have now got a new external drive and will be using that to see if the issue repeats itself.
Will update and let you know what happens when I use it.
